Churches must equip the next generation to withstand cultural pressures and stand firm in their faith.

4 practical ways on how to do that:

1. Encourage regular Bible study and prayer. They need strong foundations. Teach them to read the Bible and understand theology. Lay the foundations.

2. Foster community. They need support and accountability. They need people they can share struggles, doubts, and fears with. This should include students and adults. They need the wisdom of those older than them.

3. Get them on mission. We don’t only want to teach them about the faith, we want them engaged in sharing it with others. Mission gives them a sense of purpose and action in their faith.

4. Equip them to think critically on cultural issues. Provide resources and tools for how to engage with the different perspectives they will encounter in the world. Teach them to think.
